ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The business began in early 2005 when I noticed jacquards and preppy ribbons appearing in local boutiques - on watches, flip flops and more. I was a little put off by the high prices (up to $50 per item) and thought they could be much cuter. I have always loved the preppy and classic look and thought about starting a new business which could provide affordable, memorable, and always-in-style gifts for all ages.

My mother in-law gave me a sewing machine for the holidays and I started sewing. My mom took my items to a craft show in February and after the first two days, we sold 13 watches & 2 belts. A year later through craft shows, referrals, and resales in stores we had sold over 1,000 items. The following year sales equalled the same amount in the holiday season alone.

To date over 11,000 items have been handmade and sold. With the help and support of a loyal customer base we're excited to watch how the business has changed over the years . It has gone from just watches & belts to a great selection of gifts for all ages. I am truly grateful for all my customers ~ thanks to them the business has grown enough that I am able to have a flexible schedule and work from home, which is extremely important to me. Many thanks to my mom (who takes my items to all her shows and won't accept anything in return), my mother in law (whose gift jump started the business), my husband (who often helps with my Villanova deliveries) and our two little girls - who have inspired me as they grow - even though that growth is happening way too fast in our eyes : ) .

GIVING BACK: Many items and a portion of the profits have been donated to help raise money for various causes such as: breast cancer fundraisers, family support groups, silent auctions, numerous local schools, community organizations, and clubs. I enjoy creating each item and thrive on maintaining happy customers.
